10 years ago, the Black Oak Amphitheater closed its doors. On March 30th, the amphitheater will have its first show in a decade. The theater has been through extensive renovations and is now focused on continuing the tradition of bringing incredible performers to Branson since 1983. The 7,000 seats of the theater will certainly be filled as soon as people find out some of the incredible musicians lined up to play in the theater in March and June.
Talented performers John Michael Montgomery and Lee Greenwood start the opening off with a bang with their show and fireworks on Memorial Day Sunday. Other great musicians who will be following these performers in the month of June include Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Foreigner, Styx, Kansas, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, and even BB King. The wide range of genres and musical talent is sure to have more people than ever flocking to the Black Oak Amphitheater.
Stop by this historic site, see what changes the renovation brought to the amphitheater, and enjoy a great show. Make sure you check out the other Branson shows while you’re in town for the Black Oak Amphitheater re-opening.
