Titanic’s 4th Annual Woodcarving Event Happening This Weekend!

The fall’s annual Woodcarving Event at the Titanic Museum in Branson gives tribute to the Titanic’s German passengers and crew, and you won’t be disappointed as you watch the wood carvers use chainsaws to cut out beautiful images and wood sculptures right outside the Titanic Museum in its parking area. Special techniques will be used to carve the exact image the sculptors would like to create, and there is special recognition given to the winner of the contest. It’s timed as well, so the wood carvers must make the most of their time. It will be an incredible craft to watch.     My family and I ate at fuji a while back and we had the pleasure of being seated with a group of woodcarvers from the table rock lake area. They were so devoted to their passion it truely was fasinating. I wish I would of been able to take part in exploring this event….hopefully next year.

    The Woodcarving event looks fasinating. You can imagine how maticulous and persise the woodcarvers must be in the process. Definatly sounds like an art that anyone can surley appriciate. Convieniantly its also located in one of the more popular spots in branson The Titanic Museum! Once your done in the parking lot you can head inside for a even more appriciated expierience!

    I’ve been to Branson before,but I’ve never been to the Branson Titanic. But next time I do get a chance to go there I would love to go there especially on the day that they have to woodcarving event. I would definitely enjoy watching the carvers making pretty pieces out of woods.

    Woodcarvings are so beautiful. I am amazed by those who have such a talent! I recently saw some amazing work by my friend’s late stepfather, and think it would have been wonderful if he could have been part of an event such as this one. I would love to attend a woodcarving event, and coupling that with the Titanic Museum would make it all the more fun and exciting.
