Do you have a skill that you think is truly rare? Does your pet have an amazing trick? If so, your chance for fame has arrived! The Late Show with David Letterman will be in Branson on June 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Branson Landing to hold an open casting call for his Stupid Human Tricks and Stupid Pet Tricks segment of his show.
There are no admission or entry costs, but the casting call is first come, first served. There is no age requirement, but participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent of legal guardian. The auditions begin at 11 a.m. and end promptly at 2 p.m.
For those who are bringing pets, they must bring sufficient water, pets must be kept on a leash or in a kennel and be under control of their owner until the audition time, and owners must provide up-to-date vaccination information.
Participants who are chosen will receive an all-expenses paid trip to New York for their appearance on the Late Show in front of a live studio audience and millions of at-home viewers.
Contestants must review the full list of official rules for the casting call, which can be found at http://ozarksfirst.com/content/Letterman. Tricks must be safe, fun, and unique, and pets must be treated humanely. Release and waiver forms must be signed by every participant.
The casting call is being put on by the Late Show with David Letterman, KOLR-10 Springfield, KSFM Ft. Smith, KHTV Little Rock, and the Branson Convention and Visitors Bureau. There is no guarantee that David Letterman will actually be at the casting call.
