New Dates Added for Hit Branson Show

Brule’ and the American Indian Rock Opera performed a limited engagement series of shows from July 10 through July 19, receiving rave reviews in the process. Those who missed out on the effective and dynamic American Indian performance will have a chance to redeem themselves, as the hit show has added another series of performances to its fall schedule. Once again performing at RFD – TV the Theatre, the two-week stint will take place from November 2 through November 15 at 8 p.m. local time. Due to the success of July’s performances, tickets are already on sale for the upcoming limited engagement series.

Brule’ and the American Indian Rock Opera offers more than just an entertaining evening out. Tax Free Shopping IdeasFor the upcoming weekend of August 7 to 9, visitors to Branson as well as residents can enjoy a break from sales tax on clothing, shoes, and more. The annual tax holiday is directed towards helping people prepare for going back to school.

Tax-exempt items include clothing, school supplies, computer software, personal computers, and computer accessories. However, there are various stipulations existing in each category.

Clothing items must be $100 or less each. Footwear is tax-exempt, but jewelry and accessories are not. School supplies must be $50 or under per purchase. For computers, laptops, desktops, software, and accessories like keyboards, mouses, monitors, disk drives, printers, and scanners all may be bought tax free.

Branson and the surrounding area have many shopping options participating in the tax-free weekend. The Branson Landing shopping center has a variety of clothing stores, including Justice—Just for Girls, Aeropostale, Charlotte Russe, Hollister, the Children’s Place, and Belz Department Store.

At just $20 dollars a ticket, you and the family can enjoy six full hours of your favorite White Water rides as the sun goes down. Similar to Silver Dollar City’s Moonlight Madness, the fast-paced thrills and adventures on these three days will be enhanced during the twilight hours.

White Water in Branson features over 5,000 total feet of slides, including speed slides, multi-lane slides, twisting slides, and more. Kalani Towers, standing at over seven-and-a-half stories high and featuring a total of six slides, has become a family favorite since its opening in 2007. The multiple lanes allow you to race your family and friends at speeds of up to 40 mph.

White water features other family favorites as well. The Tropical Twister features a large raft for the whole group to fit on as you twist and turn all the way down. Little Squirts Waterpark and Splash Island feature kid-friendly entertainment, while the Lazy River offers a break from all of the fast-paced fun of the slides.
