17th Annual Hot Winter Fun Big Show Features Branson’s Best Performers


While most of the Branson area’s shows have finished for the season, that doesn’t mean that you can’t see your favorite performers one last time. The 17th Annual Hot Winter Fun Big Show on February 7th puts many of Branson’s most popular entertainers onstage together for one of the biggest shows of the season. It’s a variety of music, comedy, magic, and dancing that will be combined for one irresistibly exciting show.

The show will be presided over by the talented Bob Leftridge of the legendary Baldknobbers Jamboree, and over 20 different shows will be represented by your favorite cast members. Jim Stafford, Legends in Concert, the Hughes Brothers Show, Pierce Arrow, Kirby Van Burch, Cassandre’ – The Voice of an Angel, the Circle B Supper Show, Clay Cooper, and Grand Jubilee are just a few of the shows represented. It will be a night to remember for all who attend!

Andy Williams Returns to Branson with September Variety Show


Andy WilliamsAndy Williams has returned to Branson’s 76 Strip after a summer hiatus. This summer, Williams worked on his memoir, Moon River and Me. Fortunately, Williams has returned to the stage at his Moon River Theater for a variety show this September.

The Andy Williams All-Star Variety Show opened on September 1 and will continue until September 30. This show features Andy Williams and six different acts. Tom Mullica will be on hand with his classic comedy routine, and Joe Trammel will also be appearing. Perennial performers with Andy Williams, The Warnock Family and Pasha and Aliona, the Adagio dance team, are also returning to the Moon River stage. In addition, the Williams Brothers tap dancing duo will be performing their entertaining dance routine, and violinist Dean Church is ready to wow the audience with his award-wining violin skills.

These variety acts all offer family-friendly performances that are sure to entertain everyone in the audience. However, this variety act is only available until the end of September, so do not miss your chance to see a performance. Performances are available every day but Sunday.

The Girls of the 60'sThe cast behind #1 Hits of the 60′s returns to Branson for the 2009 season with an all-new show! At the request of the fans, you can now enjoy more music, more comedy,  and more skits. That means more fun! This high-energy  production will take you back to an amazing era full of unique music and dances. For those who were around to remember, you’ll revisit the dance crazes such as the  the Twist, the Mash Potato, and the Watusi. The show manages to feature almost 100 songs from artists such as  the Supremes, the Monkees, and the Beatles interspersed with comedy skits that capture the spirit of the 60′s. Moon River Theatre Line-Up Changes in Early 2009


The new year has brought some scheduling alterations to the Moon River Theatre performance line up. Most notably, Andy Williams, one of Branson, Missouri’s most popular entertainers and founder of the theater, will be taking a brief hiatus from performing to write his biography. The 81-year-old singer will be returning to his spot as the evening headliner in September 2009. For the time being, he has given the evening show spot to Rightous’ Brothers Bill Medley and Paul Revere & The Raiders. Also joining these classic performers are Bill Haley’s Original Comets for their first year at the theater. The Andy Williams All Star Variety Show at Moon River Theatre features 6 acts in all, not including the legend himself.

Formerly one of NBCs top rated programs, the Andy Williams Show has found a new life and home in Branson and is easily one of it’s highest ranking attractions! The Moon River Theatre has been providing family-friendly entertainment for over 16 years. The theater seats over 2,000 individuals and is classically decorated throughout with hand detailed woodwork, antiques, luxurious fabrics, and art.
