Bluegrass & BBQ is Back at Silver Dollar City!

From now until May 30, Silver Dollar City guests will be able to see wonderful performances by some of the top names in Bluegrass music, including Grammy nominee, The Grascals. Other performers include the Larry Stephenson Band, Audie Blaylock & Redline and Kenny & Amanda Smith Band. While at the festival, be sure to catch the Annual Single Mic Championship and the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band contest. Festival of Lights Brings Christmas Enchantment to Branson


Branson, Missouri has become famous for its holiday cheer and numerous Christmas events. Branson’s Festival of Lights is a favorite for both visitors to Branson and residents because of the fun presentations and displays it has. This year, the festival of lights will be open November 01, 2010 to January 01, 2011 and people everywhere are already looking forward to going.

The Festival of Lights covers one mile of Expressway Lane just off of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Roark Valley Road. Over 175 different displays will be lit up for everyone’s enjoyment as they travel through in motor vehicles. All kinds of motor vehicles are welcome with everything from a standard family-size vehicle to a full-size motorcoach expected to be passing through. Children and adults are both delighted by the enchanting displays and this year promises to be just as exciting as the last.

Bluegrass and Barbecue at Silver Dollar City


Bluegrass and Barbecue will bring talented musicians from all over the world and visitors eager to watch them perform this May in Silver Dollar City. The festival begins May 13th and continues until the 31st in a 3-week long celebration of bluegrass music and delicious barbecue. With music shows, contests, and a House of Barbecue, you won’t have a spare minute between each exciting event at this festival.

World-Fest Returns to Branson’s Silver Dollar City this Spring


This spring marks the return of World-Fest to Branson, Missouri. This annual event is the largest international festival in the United States! This year’s festival runs from April 4th to May 3rd. The 2009 lineup is bigger and better than ever with new performers including the Dzenbii percussion musicians from Ghana, Jallmay from Peru, New Zealand’s Banjo Queen, Jenny Blackadder, and the high flying Zhejiang Chinese Acrobats. In addition to these stunning new performers, you will be treated to performances by past performers such as Australia’s Wayne Horsburgh, on his 25th Anniversary Farewell Tour, and Ireland’s Feet of Fire, back by popular demand.
