Holiday Lights – Duck Style Adds Winter Magic to Branson


Branson’s Ride the Ducks is becoming known for its great themes for every holiday and special occasion. This Christmas, the Ducks have planned an especially exciting experience with their Holiday Lights – Duck Style tours. These tours are specially designed for those who want to bring Christmas enchantment to their time in Branson.

The duck water and land vehicle has been decorated with lights and mistletoe for the occasion to add to the enchantment of the evening. Christmas carols and stories of Ozark Christmas traditions will be told as guests travel through a holiday forest. Sparkling snowflakes, candy canes, and other traditional season favorites will be throughout the forest to make guests feel as if they’ve found a Winter Wonderland. Branson Ducks Salute to Veterans WWII Event


Ride the Ducks has become one the tour traditions in Branson, Missouri since they first opened their land and water tours. Since their opening, they have had many unique themes that they based their tours off of. From September 18th to October 31st, the Ducks are honoring veterans with the Branson Ducks Salute to Vetarans event.

This specialized tour takes place aboard a traditional Duck land and water vehicle, but this time, guests will learn all about how the Duck vehicle was originaly designed as a military vehicle during WWII. As you ride through the streets of Branson, your guide will tell you more about life during WWII including stories about the men who used the Ducks during the war and women, like Rosie the Riveter, who helped put the ducks together for military use. It’s a fascinating experience that gives you the fun of the original Ride the Ducks tour with a fun, new twist. Your driver will even let you drive the Duck during this special event.

The Trail of LightsAlthough the lights of Branson are always bright, the holiday season is an extra-special time to experience Branson at night. With the Trail of Lights, Festival of Lights, and guided lights tours, visitors have many ways to experience the Christmas lights of Branson.

The Trail of Lights at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead is a two mile drive-thru attraction. The light displays are larger than life, and some of them are even animated! In addition, you will hear a special holiday soundtrack to accompany the displays. After you are done driving through the display trail, you can experience a bird’s eye view of Branson at night from the Inspiration Tower. If you want to add a fun dinner to the mix, enjoy a cowboy-style Christmas by adding on the Christmas on the Trail Chuckwagon Show. The Trail of Lights is open until January 2.

The Branson Visitors Bureau is also hosting its own Festival of Lights holiday tour. This lights display is a one mile drive-thru attraction that has more than 175 different displays. The Festival of Lights is located off Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Roark Valley Road and is open until January 2. Enjoy the long Columbus Day Weekend in Branson


During this long Columbus Day weekend, Branson offers ideal sightseeing options, and activities to fill your weekend.

The fall foliage in the Ozarks has yet to reach its peak, but the Ozarks hills are beginning to show vibrant oranges and reds, and the Ride the Ducks Branson sightseeing tours offer the perfect routes to show visitors the changing colors of the season.
